Skipping Stones Blog Hop!!!

Good Morning, everyone!!!

Welcome to SSD's Sketch Challenge 110.......
the release of

Joining us, again this week, is Pamela Young.  She is our sketch artist for the month of January (even creating the sketch that we are using for this week's challenge)!  We also have 3 very talented guest designers:  Emily Leiphart, Candice Fields and Julie Day

So are you ready for a peek at Grunge 2?
Oh........How I love how this card turned out.  The paint splashes on the navy cs is from Grunge 2.  The metal diamond plate pattern is from Grunge 1.  And the martini and olives are from Chic Martini.

I'm not sure if you can tell, but the paint splashes are heat embossed in silver and really look awesome against the navy.  The metal diamond plate pattern was heat embossed with white.  I was trying to get the "manly" vibe going for this card because this is for my favorite BIL (and only BIL......lol).  Steve loves his martinis and loves his olives even more.  I only colored 3 of the olives traditionally because his favorites are stuffed with blue cheese.  I think he'll get it when he sees the card.  ;-)

Here's this week's Skipping Stones #110 Sketch:

If you just came from Shannan's wonderful blog, then you are in the right place.  If you just happened along my blog today, start at the beginning of the hop at Skipping Stones Design.  The entire hop order is there and you can hop from blog to blog with ease.

Be sure to hop along and leave comments on all the fabulous designers’ blogs.

Those heat embossed silver splotches DO look terrific Stephanie - what a fabulous idea - such an elegant twist for this rustic set! I already love Grunge Vol. 1 so I am psyched there is a Vol. 2 now - YIPPEE! New SSD!
