It's a Skipping Stones Designs Sketchy Tuesday!!!!

Good Morning, everyone!!!

Welcome to SSD's Sketch Challenge 100!
It's a new month with a new crew!

Please welcome Chan Vuong as our sketch artist for the month of November!  She is so talented that you won't want to miss a single week!

Joining her this week are 3 very talented guest designers are Jimmi Mayo, Betsy Veldman and our honorary DT is Jessica Griffin.  These wonderful ladies will also be joining us for the month of November and I can't wait to see what they create using Chan's sketches.

Another awesome thing to note is that this month the SSD DT has teamed up with Creative Impressions who has so graciously donated many of the items you will see on all of our cards this month.  You would not believe all of the beautiful ribbon, cute brads and unique brackets that were given to us for this month.  You'll have to go check out their site to see what other cute items they have to offer.

So are you ready for the first sketch of the month?

You may have to click to enlarge this photo, but I heat embossed the butterflies with white embossing powder and then painted in the images with Tim Holtz distress inks mixed with Perfect Pearls.  I wish you could see how shimmery those butterflies are in real life.  I also added some of the brackets and ribbon donated by Creative Impressions.  Finally, I spritzed the whole front panel with Spun Sugar distress ink in a spritzer bottle to give it a slight touch of pink.

Are you ready to play along?
Here's this week's Skipping Stones #100 Sketch:
Head over to the other Skipping Stones DT blogs to see what they have created!

I can't wait to see what you create this week!!!

I'm also entering this into the HYCCT #17 card challenge which was called "Paint Your Heart Out."  The challenge was to use paint on your card.  Since, I painted using distress inks, this card is perfect for the challenge.
